The CT NFC Label 45x45 is the NFC-focused sibling of the classic HF tag, designed for everyone who wants to read or write content with a simple smartphone tap. Equipped with the NXP NTAG213, the label speaks the NFC Forum Type 2 Tag protocol and works out of the box with iOS and Android devices – no extra software required. Instead of library or industrial setups, this tag targets consumer-facing use cases: marketing touchpoints, product authentication, smart packaging, digital business cards and field service triggers.

The 45 × 45 mm footprint carries NDEF records such as URLs, vCards, Wi-Fi credentials, app launchers or Bluetooth pairing data. The NTAG213 provides 144 bytes of user memory – compact but sufficient for typical NFC scenarios, especially for URL-based campaigns with tracking parameters. The factory-assigned 7-byte UID is unchangeable and can be used as a unique tag identifier for authenticity checks, anti-counterfeiting or tap analytics.

Substrate and build follow the proven IDCRAFT recipe: matt white paper with a self-adhesive backing, supplied as roll material. The label is fully printable using both thermal transfer and direct thermal technologies and works on RFID printers fitted with an HF encoder. The result: a single carrier that delivers plain text, logo or barcode plus the embedded NFC record – visual and digital tap on one tag.

The CT NFC Label 45x45 delivers a tag that bridges the NFC world and the established 45×45 footprint of the IDCRAFT portfolio. The NTAG213 is a well-established workhorse in the NFC segment, supported by virtually every NFC-capable smartphone, mobile reader and encoding tool on the market. Investments in reader hardware or app backends therefore remain future-proof, and migrations between tag generations can be implemented without rewriting the read logic.
